ByeByeTags Safety & Important Information

ByeByeTags cannot identify or diagnose a skin growth. Have a clinician confirm what a spot is before considering removal. The American Academy of Dermatology advises against at-home skin-tag removal products, and the NHS says not to remove a tag yourself unless a GP recommends it. These cautions apply to mechanical methods too.

When to seek professional evaluation

Ask a clinician if the growth is unidentified, changing, getting bigger, painful or bleeding, or if many apparent tags appear. A mole or another lesion can be mistaken for a skin tag. Removing an uncertain spot can delay diagnosis. NHS · AAD

Risks to understand

At-home removal can cause skin injury, bleeding, infection or scarring. Even when a method does not use acids or heat, it is not automatically painless or risk-free. Pigment change or scarring can follow removal. Seek medical advice if an attempted treatment causes concerning symptoms. AAD · NHS

Product instructions control product-specific limits

The complete manufacturer instructions supplied with the kit define its intended use, restrictions and aftercare. This page does not replace them or establish a size or body-location threshold. Do not infer suitability from a demonstration video or a product photo. If instructions are missing or unclear, contact support before use.

Evidence boundary

ByeByeTags is marketed as an at-home mechanical skin tag banding kit. Research on other patches or banding devices is not direct clinical evidence for ByeByeTags. See Research & Sources for original sources and limitations.
